Neonicotinoid Insecticides blamed for killing Bees

For years now bees have been dying in ever increasing numbers and now the government has finally admitted that a common pesticide is to blame.  The Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) has been under pressure from beekeepers and environmentalists to look at its approval of a type of insecticides called neonicotinoids. This is based on mounting research suggesting the insecticide is causing long term damage to bees and other pollinators. And at long last the EPA has now basically conceded the case.  Neonics are some of the most widely used insecticides in the world.
